Sharp Interface Methods for Moving Boundary Problems

In this talk, we will describe recent (and less recent) advances in the field of free boundary problems, with an emphasis on level-set and ghost-fluid methods. We will discuss their applications to two-phase flows and to the Stefan problem. Novel methods for adaptive mesh refinement will be discussed as well.
